2021 is a special year for COATEC, and we want to remember it and share it with everyone. It is the 25th anniversary of our company, and we would especially like to extend our thanks to those who have taken part in our history.
Leafing through old catalogues and reflecting on the past, we have realized how much time has passed and how much Coatec S.r.l. has grown and changed.
Coatec S.r.l. was established in 1996. It started as a small company distributing anti-corrosive primer and mastic tapes exclusively in Italy. After 25 years, our products are now exported to as many as 8 different countries around the world.
ALTENE is a brand in which we have always identified quality, research and competitiveness, to the point of deciding to register it as a trademark in 2005. In 2017, the company producing ALTENE tapes was no longer able to guarantee us the same high standards that had distinguished them over the years. So, we made the choice, seemingly against the tide at the time, to become our own producers of ALTENE anti-corrosion tapes, primers and mastics, with a commitment to improve the range of our products and create new ones to meet the evolving demands of our customers.
Today, we boast a fully-equipped laboratory where tests are carried out to UNI EN 12068 standards, so that we can provide our customers, on request, with incontrovertible evidence of the high quality of our products. We continuously invest in projects to consolidate our position in national and international markets. The quality and effectiveness of our anti-corrosion primer and mastic tapes are dedicated to the service of our customers.

However, we want to consider this anniversary only one milestone in the path we have undertaken, convinced that there are many others to reach, with the same enthusiasm and tenacity that have motivated us from the beginning, and that have allowed us to come so far.
